A well-established dental practice based in Bournemouth offering private and NHS services is looking to recruit a Practice Manager. This is an exciting time to join the team as they enter into a period expansion through new investment. The practice has had major investment and modernisation being part of a growing independent group. The role is a permanent position 5 days a week. As the Practice Manager you will be responsible for driving performance by delivering objectives relating to revenue targets, KPIs and cost management. You will recruit, retain and directly manage a team of professional clinicians, nurses, receptionists and support staff. You will also be responsible for marketing, audit and financial processes, which must be completed to both company and CQC standards. You will enjoy considerable responsibility and autonomy yet receive support from senior management.
You will have, motivation and drive to make the role your own and successful. You will have first class interpersonal skills to manage key stakeholder relationships. Organisation skills including prioritising important deadlines whilst managing reactive business needs are also a must. You will have strong commercial awareness/business acumen coupled with experience of analysing financial data including profit and loss accounts to make problem solving commercial decisions relating to the practice. You will have good people management experience including conducting one-to-ones, performance reviews and managing staff development.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a dental environment however applications from those who have gained management experience in the healthcare or retail industry will also be considered.
